Many trees were knocked down along the path. A church suffered minor damage just before the tornado lifted. |

Five power poles were also snapped along US Highway 64. The tornado then continued northeast across open farm land before snapping power lines along County Road 165 before lifting. |

The tornado continued northeast destroying an office trailer at a crop duster hangar off Highway 14 in Weona. The crop duster hangar was also damaged. The tornado then tracked across open farm land damaging trees and power poles. The tornado crossed Henderson Lane and damaged one home. A barn was also destroyed. The tornado then tracked across more open farm land snapping three more transmission lines as it crossed Maple Grove Lane. The tornado damaged more trees between farm fields before lifting near County Road 204. |

Maximum winds are estimated at 60-65 mph. |

Damage near Cayce consisted of downed trees and limbs caused by the EF-0 tornado. Near Highway 924, the tornado increased to EF-1 intensity and caused some minor damage to houses and outbuildings. One mobile home was moved a few feet, and the roof was torn back. A boat on a trailer was flipped over. Anchored television antennas were pulled out of the ground and bent. The tornado further increased in strength upon crossing into Hickman County. |

Peak winds in this area were estimated near 115 mph. The EF-2 tornado damaged or destroyed several pole barns along U.S. Highway 51. One barn was over 100 feet long and was anchored by telephone poles set in concrete. Most of the poles were snapped. A few poles were pulled up, with one thrown about 50 yards. A section of U.S. 51 was closed due to downed power poles and debris. Large trees were uprooted or snapped. There was minor house damage. As the tornado continued northeast across Kentucky Highway 1070 and a nearby road, three homes were damaged. One of the houses sustained damage to an outside wall, which was pushed in about three inches. The carport attached to that wall was blown away. A two-story garage was destroyed, along with other sheds and another carport. The other two houses sustained damage to garages and siding. Windows were blown out, and a section of roof was blown off one house. The maximum path width of about 600 yards was in this area. The average path width was closer to 300 yards. The tornado then weakened significantly and produced only minor tree damage until it dissipated about a mile southwest of Fulgham. |

The most concentrated damage was on County Road 564, where a small wooden storage shed was demolished and 8-inch branches were broken. Debris from the shed was thrown up to 90 yards. Three large pine trees were snapped about 15 feet from their bases, and one large pine tree was uprooted. There was strong evidence of convergent wind damage where the trees were blown down. |

One home in Humboldt received partial roof loss and garage damage while the storage shed and wooden swing set were completely destroyed. Several power poles were knocked down before a winery received tree and vine damage. Some tiles were stripped off the business home at the winery. One rural home suffered more extensive damage near the end of the track with partial roof loss, porch removal and brick veneer ripped off the northeast corner of the home. Windows were also blown out on the home with a large well built brick supported carport completely destroyed. A well built 40 foot by 40 foot wood and metal shed on the property was completely destroyed with the wood support beams snapped off one foot above the concrete slab. A tour bus nearby was lifted and turned 180 degrees. A semi trailer on the property was also flipped over. Numerous large trees along the path were either uprooted or damaged. A few smaller trees were snapped off one to two feet above the ground. Several power lines were also knocked down before the tornado lifted near Pleasant Hill Road. |

Eleven homes and mobile homes were destroyed with six receiving major damage. Twenty-three homes sustained minor damage. Numerous trees were snapped and debarked along the path. Power lines were also knocked down. A free standing transmission tower collapsed and was severely twisted as well. Two deaths and one critical injury occurred when a double wide mobile home was destroyed just east of Ashland. Four additional injuries, three of them critical, occurred when a mobile home was picked up by the tornado. |

Three unoccupied mobile homes were severely damaged or destroyed on Route 1348 west of Crofton. On Route 407, two mobile homes suffered moderate to major damage and a garage was levelled. The roof was peeled off one of the mobile homes. This tornado was very near the site of an EF3 tornado in Mannington just over a year earlier. One of the victims whose home was destroyed in the previous year's tornado relocated to a new spot, only to have her new home receive minor damage in this tornado. Several barns along the damage path received minor to moderate damage. Hundreds of trees were uprooted or snapped, particularly on Route 407 and nearby U.S. Highway 41. The tornado damage path began along Highway 109 and ended just after crossing the Pennyrile Parkway. The EF-2 tornado damage was near the end of the damage path along Route 407 and U.S. Highway 41, where hundreds of trees were uprooted or snapped. The average path width was 275 yards. Peak winds were estimated near 120 mph. The supercell that spawned this tornado later produced a separate brief tornado in Hopkins County. |

Trees and power lines were knocked down in the area as well. |

In total, one home was completely destroyed. Thirteen homes sustained major damage with another five receiving very minor damage. Two mobile homes were destroyed with another two receiving minor damage. Numerous trees were snapped and debarked in the area. In addition, power lines were knocked down as well. |

Minor roof damage occurred to a mobile home. This tornado was spawned by the same cell that produced damage from near Ashland Mississippi to near Pocahontas, Tennessee. This same cell would go onto produce damage near Selmer. |
| 08:24Z | EF2 | KNQA | TN | Mcnairy | Falcon | A tornado touched down near the intersection of Sulphur Springs Road and Steadman Road, southwest of Selmer, and tracked northeast. This tornado was spawned from the same cell that produced a tornado from near Ashland, Mississippi to near Pocahontas, Tennessee and just west of Ramer, Tennessee in McNairy County. Tree and minor roof damage was noted at the beginning of the track. The tornado tracked further to the northeast and hit northern parts of Selmer. A carport failed due to fallen trees at the Christmas Tree Farm. A large home was moved off the foundation as well as a double wide mobile home. A single wide trailer was destroyed and wrapped around a tree. Total collapse of a few buildings occurred as well. Large trees were knocked down and minor roof damage was noted. The tornado then tracked further to the northeast and hit Bethesda and Purdy. Two churches were destroyed. A brick home sustained major roof damage while a horse barn was completely destroyed. The tornado tracked further to the northeast and hit the town of Good Hope. Two homes were destroyed. The tornado continued to the northeast crossing into Hardin County just to the southwest Milledgeville. At least ten injuries occurred in McNairy County from the tornado. In total, 22 homes were completely destroyed with 59 homes sustaining major damage. At least minor damage occurred to 219 homes. Fifteen mobile homes were destroyed and eleven sustained major damage. Twenty mobile homes received minor damage. Several other buildings and outbuildings were damaged or destroyed as well. |

The tornado crossed Rivergate Parkway at the Rivergate Mall. It blew over power poles and business signs. Several large projectiles impacted the Mall���s facade, leaving craters as high as 30 feet off the ground. The last evidence of damage was to business signs just east of Rivergate Mall on Gallatin Pike.||Maximum wind speeds in the tornado were estimated to be around 105 mph. |

Damage consisted of hundreds of snapped hardwood trees and minor roof damage was then continuous to the northeast for 5 miles.||The most significant damage, high end EF1, occurred on Kimber Lane just off highway 258. An older home was picked up partially off its foundation and suffered significant roof damage. The last evidence of damage was near the intersection of Latimer Circle and Long Hollow Pike.||Maximum wind speeds in the tornado were estimated to be around 105 mph. |
