04:35Z EF1 KSGF MO Dade Everton A NWS survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with winds estimated of 80 to 90 mph touched down about four miles northeast of Everton. The tornado had a path width of 100 yards and snapped and uprooted several trees for two miles before entering Greene County just west of the Sac River along Farm Road 130. The tornado had a total path length of 11 miles before lifting about six miles east of Walnut Grove in Greene County.
04:37Z EF1 KSGF MO Greene Phenix A NWS survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with winds estimated of 80 to 90 mph touched down about four miles northeast of Everton and continued into Greene County. The tornado had a path width of 100 to 200 yards and continued for 9 miles snapping and uprooting several trees after entering Greene County just west of the Sac River along Farm Road 130. The tornado had a total path length of 11 miles before lifting about six miles east of Walnut Grove in Greene County.
04:40Z EF1 KSGF MO Dade Dadeville A NWS survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with winds estimated at 80 to 90 mph touched down about two miles southeast of Dadeville in eastern Dade County. This tornado had a path width of 100 yards and continued eastward into Polk County where it lifted about one mile south of Eudora. This tornado snapped and uprooted several trees and destroyed and outbuilding before entering Polk County.
04:42Z EF1 KSGF MO Polk Knox A NWS survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with winds estimated at 80 to 90 mph touched down about two miles southeast of Dadeville in eastern Dade County. This tornado had a path width of 100 yards and entered Polk County about a mile east southeast of Rice Cemetery. The tornado lifted about one mile south of Eudora and snapped and uprooted several trees along its path in Polk County.
05:03Z EF0 KSGF MO Polk Brighton Ground survey confirmed an EF-0 tornado produced 70 to 80 mph winds along an east southeast path between three miles southeast of Brighton, just north of the Greene County line, to Highway H in northern Greene County four miles south of Pleasant Hope. The tornado damaged trees in Polk County before proceeding into Greene County.
05:04Z EF0 KSGF MO Greene Ebenezer Ground survey confirmed an EF-0 tornado produced 70 to 80 mph winds along an east southeast path between three miles southeast of Brighton, just north of the Greene County line, to Highway H in northern Greene County four miles south of Pleasant Hope. The tornado damaged trees as it entered Greene County and proceeded on an intermittent path damaging trees, destroying a metal barn and causing damage to siding and roofs on a few homes.
06:57Z EF0 KLSX MO Crawford Keysville A tornado touched down about 0.8 of a mile south southeast of Keysville, southwest of Highway AA near Crooked Creek, and travelled to the east crossing Highway AA. It caused extensive tree damage along its path before lifting and dissipating about 1.75 miles southeast of Keysville. The damage width varied from 50 to 60 yards and the path length was 1.34 miles. The damage was rated EF0.
06:58Z EF2 KLSX MO Crawford Keysville A tornado touched down about 2.25 miles southeast of Keysville along Highway AA and travelled to the northeast. There was widespread tree damage with trees snapped off at the base. Some of the trees were between a foot and two feet in diameter in this location, where the intensity of damage was rated EF0. Further along the path, about half a mile north of Gray Road, the tornado hit a home. The roof of the home was uplifted and thrown about a quarter of a mile to the north. The north and east side walls were removed and tossed to the northeast between 80 and 120 yards. Some of the 2x4 supports were deposited as much as half to three quarters of a mile to the east northeast. Three of the seven family members sustained minor injuries. Damage at this location was rated EF2. Additional large tree damage was uncovered from just northeast of the damaged home to half a mile east northeast of the home. The tornado continued to cause tree damage before lifting and dissipating near the intersection of 7 Cedars Road and Imperial Woods Lane. The width of the damage path varied between 50 and 80 yards. The overall path length was 2.77 miles and was rated an EF2, with peak wind speeds near 125 mph.
08:48Z EF1 KPAH IL Perry Clinch A tornado crossed through the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, where damage was estimated around one-half million dollars. Dozens of large trees were snapped or uprooted. Several small camper trailers were overturned. One unoccupied trailer was demolished. Three persons were trapped inside a camper at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. They were extricated by fire and rescue personnel. One person sustained minor injuries in an overturned trailer. Several homes lost some shingles and sustained mainly minor damage from fallen trees. At the state fairgrounds, a shower/restroom facility and the Farm Service building were destroyed by falling trees. Large hvac units were lifted off the roof of the main arena building and overturned. The doors of the building were damaged. A couple of uprooted trees ruptured gas lines. The peak winds were estimated near 100 mph. The average path width was 200 yards.
11:31Z EF0 KLVX IN Perry Oriole Damage to trees on both sides of State Route 66 was observed where this road takes a brief northeast jog around 1.2 miles northeast of Oriole. Approximately 10 to 15 trees had either toppled or had their tops snapped. With such a brief touchdown, damage could only be observed for around 0.2 miles.
11:39Z EF2 KLVX KY Breckinridge Harned The tornado first touched down at the west end of H Wilson Road as an EF-0, where around one dozen trees were snapped and uprooted. A barn collapsed when an oak tree fell on it. At the intersection of State Highway 79 and H Wilson Road, EF-2 damage occurred when a roof was torn from a home and thrown 60 yards. A 30 by 50 foot barn was thrown 200 yards and metal sheeting was thrown 300 yards. Several power poles were found leaning over State Highway 79. This tornado dissipated after snapping and uprooting several trees between State Highway 79 and Harned Locust Hill Road.
11:43Z EF0 KLVX KY Breckinridge Locust Hill This weak EF-0 Tornado was only briefly on the ground. Along Route 1401, winds estimated at 80 mph tore roof panels off of a large well constructed barn and threw them 200 yards.
