22:05Z EF2 KARX WI Clark Spokeville Two people were directly injured and there was an indirect loss of life from an EF2 tornado that tracked across the east central sections of Clark County near Chili. The death occurred when an oxygen machine stopped working due to a power outage caused by the tornado. The tornado was on the ground for just over 7 miles and destroyed four homes, damaged at least 19 others, destroyed four barns and 15 outbuildings with numerous other farm buildings damaged. One farmer lost several specialty birds including 12 peacocks and 16 guinea hens. Around 1500 residents across Clark County were without power after the storms moved through. Damages from the tornado are estimated to be around $1.5 million.
22:58Z EF0 KARX WI Wood Arpin A brief tornado, witnessed by local law enforcement, touched down for less than 10 seconds in a corn field. A couple stalks of corn where thrown in the air, but no damage was reported. The tornado was rated EF0 with winds around 60 mph.
23:56Z EF0 KGRB WI Shawano Briarton A brief tornado, rated EF0, touched down in a field near Briarton shortly before 7:00 pm CDT along Shady Road in Shawano County, just north of the Outagamie County line. Tall grass and hay in a field was flattened in a cyclonic pattern. In addition, about a dozen trees had snapped limbs (DI 28, DOD 1, 2). Peak winds were estimated at 65 to 70 mph. The average path width was about 50 yards.
02:05Z EF0 KGRB WI Calumet Sherwood A tornado struck less than a mile northeast of Sherwood at 9:05 PM CDT. The EF0 tornado toppled two trees that damaged the roof of a house and snapped or uprooted six pine trees near Highway M. The tornado continued east-southeast, moving over a swamp, where swirl marks were seen in the thick swamp grass. The tornado then hit a farm on Kesler Road. Two old barns were heavily damaged (DI 1, DOD 5, 6 -- lower bound due to condition of structures). Peak winds were estimated near 85 mph. Average path width of the tornado was 75 yards.
