| 18:26Z | EF0 | KLWX | VA | Spotsylvania | Alsop | After review of radar observations, spotter reports and a ground survey, the NWS has confirmed a EF-0 tornado in Spotsylvania County on the afternoon of Thursday, June 13, 2013.||The tornado originally touched down near Jennings Pond in Central Spotsylvania County and then traveled Northeast across the county. Intermittent tree damage occurred along the path including along Robert E Lee Drive approximately one mile west of State HWY 208 in the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park and in the Three Cedars subdivision near Leavells Road. |
| 18:35Z | EF0 | KLWX | VA | Spotsylvania | Hams Ford | The tornado touched down near Mayre Road west of Jefferson Davis Highway, where several trees were snapped and uprooted. The tornado traveled to the North-Northeast roughly along US Hwy 1 and I 95. At a farm on Hwy 1, a shed was destroyed with twisted debris scattered across the property. Portions of roofs were peeled on other sheds. Minor siding and roof damage occurred to the farmhouse. Afterward, the tornado damaged two billboards near the southbound lanes of I 95 and carried a placard from one of the billboards across the highway. Just to east of I 95, the tornado overturned two recreational vehicles at a dealership and pulled a garage door off its hinges. The two recreational vehicles weighed an estimated 8000 pounds each. |

The tornado then traveled east-northeast across southeastern King George County causing intermittent tree damage. The most significant damage occurred Northeast of Rollings Fork near the Westmorland County border where three 20-30 inch diameter Poplar trees were blown over and numerous small trees were topped. |

It formed 4.7 miles northwest of New Market and lifted 3.1 west-northwest of New Market. It had a path length of 2.0 miles and a path width of 120 yards. The max wind of 100 mph snapped and uprooted numerous trees along its damage path, as well as causing roof damage to a home. |

Numerous large trees were uprooted and some trees were topped. Many were noted in the vicinity of Oakley Road and Hodges Road between Old Rolling Road and Joan Drive and between Shady Mile Drive and Town Creek Road.||Thunderstorm wind damage also occurred across Coltons Point between Serenity Lane and Point Breeze Road. Many large trees were uprooted in this area. |
| 19:38Z | EF0 | KLWX | MD | Montgomery | Seneca | From eyewitness accounts, radar imagery and a ground survey concluded a long track EF-0 tornado occurred in Montgomery County MD on the afternoon of June 13, 2013. Peak winds were estimated at 75 mph. Damage was almost entirely from downed trees. In that regard numerous homes and a few parked vehicles were damaged by trees falling onto them. ||First damage was noted near the Bretton Woods golf course along River Road. Damage continued along Bonnie Dale Drive and Glenhurst Ct where several trees were downed in the community. Also, near the intersection of Turkey Foot Road and Jones Lane in southwest Montgomery County near North Potomac MD a few large trees were over the road. The tornado raced east at nearly 60 mph to the northern section of Rockville MD. At least 14 homes were significantly damaged by uprooted trees. As it continued east to the Norbeck and Aspen Hill area 30 trees were uprooted in the Manor County Golf Club as well as numerous homes damaged in the surrounding communiteis from tree damage. Tree damage was noted along the intercounty connector route 200 at the Layhill Road exit. Finally a few trees were downed in Spencerville and Burtonsville.||Additionally there was a parallel 7 miles path of damage through South Rockville and Glenmont MD with similar tree damage. This area was found to be straight line winds from the outflow just south of the tornado from the parent supercell storm. |

The tornado uprooted two oak trees that were one to two feet in diameter and snapped several others at their bases. It blew the roof off of a farm outbuilding and caused additional damage to the wooden planks. Several pine trees had their limbs ripped off. Four to six inch diameter tree limbs were blown onto portions of Cage Farm Road. Grassy fields surrounding the area indicate the tornado may have lifted and descended along its path. |

It formed 14.1 miles east-southeast of Sevierville and lifted 14.2 miles east-southeast of Sevierville. It had a path length 0.5 miles and a path width of 150 yards. The max wind 90 mph caused widespread tree damage along its path. It also partly removed a roof from a single family home and awning of a porch before lifting. |
| 20:10Z | EF1 | KMRX | NC | Haywood | Mt Sterling | An NWS storm survey found part of an EF1 tornado track in the Big Creek area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. An area of extensive tree damage was found about 3.5 miles up the Big Creek trail from its terminus at Big Creek Campground. This was near the end of the damage path, about 15 miles north northwest of Maggie Valley. Hundreds of small trees were snapped 10 to 20 feet above ground level, and dozens of large trees were uprooted along a 0.5 mile section of the trail. Although the rugged terrain prevented a complete survey, the survey team observed a concentrated path of additional significant tree damage along a ridge about 1 mile west of Big Creek and 1 mile east of Low Gap. Discussions with a National Park Service maintenance crew and with a survey team from the University of North Carolina at Asheville indicated that the tornado either developed near or crossed the state line along the crest of the Smokies near Low Gap. A hiker was injured by a fallen tree on Low Gap Trail and required airlifting when he was discovered the next day. This was the first non-F/EF0 tornado ever documented on the NC side of the park. |

Along Marietta Road and Hickory Flat Highway, a Chevron gas station sustained roof damage, and a gas pump was blown over. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado then headed south-southeast causing additional tree damage, lifting near the intersection of New Light Road and Hickory Road. The tornado tracked southeast through Cobb County with the most significant damage occurring near Wendwood Drive Northeast and near Bishop Lake where dozens of trees were snapped and uprooted, many causing damage to homes. It moved over the Chattahoochee River near Morgan Falls, retaining its EF-1 strength as it snapped and uprooted dozens of trees along the riverbank. It damaged roofs at the Laurel at Overlook Park Apartments. Netting polls at the driving range at the Steel Canyon Golf Club were damaged, with the netting ripped off or tangled. | 00:32Z | EF1 | KRTX | OR | Yamhill | Mc Minnville | A tornado touched down near the intersection of 14th St. and NE Kirby St. in McMinnville Oregon. Several 8-10 inch diameter trees were snapped at this location. The tornado continued Southeast for one block through a residential neighborhood with some tree damage noted. The tornado lifted a camper and deposited it over a chain link fence in a nearby industrial area and lofted 300 pound trellises. This damage was consistent with EF1 wind speeds. The tornado dissipated as it moved Southeast of 11th Ave and Lafayette. Some straight line wind damage was noted at a nearby park after this time. |
