12:27Z EF0 KMKX WI Dane Black Earth A brief EF0 tornado was observed ripping apart trees.
23:05Z EF1 KABR SD Hyde Stephan A tornado touched down east of Stephan damaging two homes. The main home at the residence had part of its metal roof taken off, while a secondary home lost its entire roof structure. A wooden barn had its main door blown in resulting in a lifting of the roof structure. This allowed the exterior walls to collapse with the roof then settling back down on the debris. A metal machine shed was destroyed along with a semi-tractor trailer blown over on its side. As the tornado continued north, a tree grove suffered extensive damage with numerous trees being topped and large branches broken off.
23:07Z EF0 KABR SD Buffalo Ft Thompson A tornado developed in Buffalo county and grew in size to approximately a quarter mile wide as it tracked northeast in open country. The tornado tracked two miles before dissipating near the Hand county line. The tornado did hit a shelter belt causing tree damage with several softwood trees uprooted along with large branches broken.

00:30Z EF2 KABR SD Jerauld Wessington Spgs A tornado damaged at least 43 homes in Wessington Springs, making at least 26 of them uninhabitable. The tornado also destroyed at least 3 businesses and damaged 9 others. The tornado also caused considerable damage to power lines, power poles, and trees, resulting in power outages to the entire town. Vehicles and signs were also damaged. The damage included an estimated 1.2 million dollars in damage to public infrastructure. There were no reported fatalities and one minor injury. The tornado also caused an unknown amount of damage to corn and soybean crops.

A couple in the house suffered minor injuries.The tornado also damaged trees, power poles, and power lines; and caused an unknown amount of crop damage. The tornado crossed briefly into Beadle County before lifting.

00:49Z EF0 KPBZ PA Clarion Frogtown An EF0 skipped along a path nearly 4.5 miles long with a maximum width of 150 yards near Limestone. The tornado had maximum winds of 80 MPH. The storm uprooted or snapped numerous hardwood trees, a barn was destroyed, and the roof of a 2nd story deck was removed.
