21:59Z EFU KLBB TX Hockley Whitharral Storm chasers reported a brief tornado in Hockley County. A storm survey was unable to be completed to due flooded roads.
22:39Z EF2 KLBB TX Hale Plainview Tornado development started west of Interstate 27 around 1636 CST based on storm chaser images. The first indications of damage occurred near the intersection of Industrial Boulevard and northbound Interstate 27 where shipping containers were blown over. Damage was then noted to the northeast along the Interstate at the off-ramp and North Columbia Street where tin roofs were blown off storage buildings. Damage then continued south and east towards the intersection of North Columbia Street and Fence Road where a small out building was destroyed and a mobile home that was being transported on a flatbed trailer was blown over and destroyed. The tornado started to move east near or over County Road 65/East 34th Street where several trees had damage and a small out building was destroyed. On County Road 65, halfway between North Columbia Street and Well Road, the most significant damage occurred to a trussed cell phone tower. The tower was destroyed and fell across County Road 65. The tornado dissipated shortly after crossing Well Road north of County Road 65. Up to 2400 homes were without power in Plainview immediately after the storm passage.
22:42Z EF1 KPBZ OH Carroll Carrollton The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has confirmed an EF1 tornado in the city of Carrollton on Saturday afternoon May 25th.|||The tornado touched down in a wooded area off of Crest |Street then lifted briefly across Canton Road NW before tearing the top of a |large hardwood tree behind the McDonald's. The worst of the damage |was an overturned single wide mobile home. There were shingles off |several other mobile homes within the mobile home park. A metal shed |was also destroyed. Intermittent touchdowns continued causing minor |damage and shingles off the roofs of a few homes along N Lisbon |Street. Numerous hardwood trees behind the aforementioned street |were snapped mid way up in a ravine.
23:08Z EFU KLBB TX Hale Cotton Center Moving over mainly farm and ranch land, there were no damage indicators hit to provide an EF rating. The only indications of damage were an overturned center pivot irrigation system near a curve of Farm to Market Road 37, 2.5 miles WNW of Cotton Center. A cotton trailer and livestock feed bunk were also pulled across the road near this location. The tornado continued moving east passing one mile north of Cotton Center and no damage was found near Farm to Market Road 179 where the path crossed the road. The tornado dissipated one mile ENE of Cotton Center. Poor road conditions prevented a NWS storm survey to determine if any damage existed beyond this point.
00:04Z EFU KFDR OK Greer Willow An Oklahoma City television storm chaser observed a tornado that was estimated to be located just southwest of the community of Willow. No damage was reported.
00:14Z EFU KFDR OK Beckham Retrop A storm chaser observed a tornado estimated to be about 3 miles southwest of Retrop in southeastern Beckham County. No damage was observed. The duration of the tornado may have been longer, but it became wrapped in rain and unobservable soon after developing.
00:27Z EF1 KPBZ PA Indiana Strangford The NWS confirmed an EF1 tornado with winds around 90mph north of Blairsville. ||A EF1 tornado started in a open field east of State Route 217|before tearing less than 20% of a roof off a house at the|intersection of State Route 217 and High Rise Road. Several bricks|from a single family home were lodged loose and scattered about |the property. As the tornado tracked east along High Rise road at |least 20 hardwood trees were either snapped, uprooted, or large |branches were taken down. Ontop of that, at least 10 softwood |trees had similar damage of being uprooted, snapped halfway up, or|missing large branches. At the time of the survey, it did not |appear any of the trees landed along nearby homes that flank both|sides of High Point Road. The storm lifted just as it crossed |Lear Road, but not before more tree damage was observed.
00:32Z EF0 KCCX PA Indiana Penn Run The NWS confirmed an EF0 tornado with winds around 70mph. The tornado touched down near the intersection of Goral Road and Coal Road where three softwood trees were uprooted. The storm continued east and either knocked down large branches off |hardwood trees or uproot dead softwood trees. At least ten trees sustained damage.
00:40Z EFU KAMA TX Hall Eli Storm chasers observed a brief tornado near the ghost town of Eli.
03:28Z EF3 KTLX OK Canadian El Reno An intense QLCS tornado developed south of El Reno, just south of Interstate 40 and about a mile west of US-81. Initially the tornado affected rural areas, but as it moved east-northeast, it moved through the northwestern portion of an automobile dealership at the northwest corner of Interstate 40 and US-81. There it overturned or displaced a number of vehicles and removed the roof and collapsed many exterior walls of an automobile service building.||Immediately northeast of the automobile dealership, the tornado moved through the southeastern portion of a mobile home park destroying many mobile homes. Although the tornado was relatively narrow, the destruction of mobile homes was complete in the path while mobile homes just a couple of blocks away suffered minimal damage. Two residents of one mobile home were killed when their home was destroyed.||Just to the northeast of the mobile home park, the tornado hit a two-story motel. Most walls of the second story were collapsed in the portion of the motel that was in the most intense part of the tornado path and the tornado was rated EF3 at this motel. ||Crossing US-81, the tornado significantly damaged another automotive service building and produced significant roof damage to a home on SE 27th Street. The tornado weakened as it moved east-northeast along and just north of SE 27th Street damaging trees before dissipating near Alfadale Road.
03:46Z EF0 KTLX OK Oklahoma Warr Acres An area of damage consistent with a narrow QLCS tornado was found within a larger swath of damaging winds. This tornado developed near NW 11th Terrace and Warren Place and moved east along and just north of Liberty Avenue to just north of Liberty Avenue and Portland Avenue. Besides trees, damage was also observed to house roofs, porches and car ports with evidence of debris lofted.
03:49Z EF0 KTLX OK Oklahoma Oklahoma City A second area consistent with a tornado was observed within a larger swath of thunderstorm wind damage as a Quasi-Linear Convective System moved through. This tornado developed just west of NW 20th Street and Blackwelder Avenue and initially moved east-northeast. Just west of Douglas Avenue, the tornado turned north until reaching NW 23rd Street, then turned east-northeast dissipating near NW 24th Street and Western Avenue. A restaurant near NW 23rd Street and Douglas suffered roof damage on the east side of the building, and windows were broken in a building that had previously housed Rainbow Records at NW 23rd and Classen. Elsewhere along the path, trees and powerlines were damaged as well as roof damage to one home, an damaged outbuilding, and street signs along NW 23rd.
03:53Z EF0 KTLX OK Oklahoma Forest Park Within the larger area of thunderstorm wind damage, a small tornado developed just southeast of NE 42nd Street and Kelley Avenue and moved northeast to near NE 43rd Street and Everest Avenue. A church sign was destroyed and large trees were uprooted (although in ground that was much wetter than usual after recent heavy rainfall.) One of these trees fell onto a parked car.
03:56Z EF0 KTLX OK Cleveland (oun)norman Westheimer Arpt A QLCS tornado developed with a line of storms in far western portions of the city of Norman near 72nd Avenue NW and Rock Creek Road. This tornado damaged buildings and a mobile home as well as a number of trees as it moved east-southeast.
03:57Z EF0 KTLX OK Oklahoma Forest Park One final tornado embedded within a larger area of wind damage caused damage to a convenience store at NE 63rd Street and Kelley Avenue, or just southeast of the Interstate 35/Interstate 44 interchange.
04:14Z EF1 KILX IL Tazewell Parkland A tornado touched down along the leading edge of a line of thunderstorms about 3.5 miles west-northwest of Green Valley at 11:14 PM CDT. The tornado tracked northeastward, damaging the roof of a manufactured home and several trees before dissipating 2.6 miles northwest of Green Valley at 11:16 PM CDT.
04:19Z EF1 KILX IL Tazewell Green Vly A tornado touched down about 0.9 miles north-northeast of Green Valley at 11:19 PM CDT. The tornado uprooted a tree, damaged an irrigation unit, and did significant damage to a large shed before dissipating 1.5 miles northeast of Green Valley at 11:20 PM CDT.
05:04Z EF1 KINX OK Creek Bellvue This tornado damaged the roofs of several homes, damaged outbuildings, uprooted trees, and blew down power poles. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 85 to 95 mph.
05:14Z EF1 KINX OK Creek Bellvue This tornado developed southwest of Kellyville near the intersection of I-44 and Highway 66, and moved east passing south of Kellyville before turning toward the northeast and dissipating east of town. It snapped and uprooted numerous trees, and destroyed outbuildings. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 90 to 100 mph.
05:21Z EF1 KINX OK Creek Kellyville This is the first segment of a two-segment tornado. This large tornado developed west of Sapulpa, west of the intersection of I-44 and Highway 33. It moved east along Highway 66, then across the northern portion of Sapulpa. It crossed Hickory Hill Road near the Creek Turnpike, and moved into Tulsa County near W 91st Street S. In Creek County, the tornado damaged homes and businesses, snapped and uprooted numerous trees, and blew down power poles. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 100 to 110 mph.
05:27Z EF1 KINX OK Creek Sapulpa This is the first segment of a two-segment tornado. This large tornado developed near the Sapulpa Golf Course and moved east across Sapulpa, roughly between E Taft Avenue and E Dewey Avenue. It crossed Hickory Hill Road and S 49th West Avenue south of the Creek Turnpike, and moved into Tulsa County near W 111th Street S. The tornado damaged the roofs of many homes, damaged businesses, snapped numerous power poles, and snapped or uprooted numerous trees. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 100 to 110 mph.
05:33Z EF1 KINX OK Tulsa Tulsa R L Jones Arpt This is the second segment of a two-segment tornado. This tornado moved into Tulsa County near W 111th Street S and moved east across Jenks. It crossed the Arkansas River and dissipated east of S Yale Avenue, north of E 111th Street S. The tornado damaged the roofs of numerous homes, snapped or uprooted many trees, and blew down numerous power poles. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 90 to 100 mph.
05:35Z EF1 KINX OK Tulsa Tulsa R L Jones Arpt This is the second segment of a two-segment tornado. This tornado crossed into Tulsa County near W 91st Street S, where large tree limbs were snapped and power poles were blown down. It moved northeast dissipating near Highway 75 and W 81 Street S. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 90 to 100 mph.
05:51Z EF0 KINX OK Tulsa Broken Arrow This is the first segment of a two-segment tornado. This tornado developed near Lynn Lane, north of the Broken Arrow Expressway. It moved east across several neighborhoods, where the roofs of homes were damaged and large tree limbs were snapped. It moved across the southern portion of the Broken Arrow High School facilities, where the baseball field was damaged. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 75 to 80 mph. The tornado continued into Wagoner County.
05:53Z EF0 KINX OK Wagoner Broken Arrow This is the second segment of a two-segment tornado. This tornado moved into Wagoner County just south of E Albany Street where the roofs of homes were damaged and large tree limbs were snapped. It moved east and dissipated before reaching S 209th East Avenue. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in this segment of the tornado was 75 to 80 mph.
06:15Z EF0 KINX OK Mcintosh Rentiesville This brief tornado was reported by a trained storm spotter. It snapped large tree limbs. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 70 to 75 mph.
06:23Z EF1 KILX IL Champaign Champaign A tornado touched down within a line of severe thunderstorms near Mayfair Road and Broadmoor Drive in Champaign at 11:23 PM CDT May 25th. The tornado damaged numerous trees as it moved to the east-southeast parallel to Broadmoor Drive before dissipating near Richards Lane and Park Haven Drive in Champaign at 11:25 PM CDT.
06:27Z EF1 KILX IL Champaign Urbana A tornado touched down near Race Street and McHenry Street in Urbana at 11:27 PM CDT May 25th. The tornado damaged numerous trees as it traveled to the east-southeast just south of McHenry Street before dissipating west of Philo Road in Urbana at 11:29 PM CDT.
06:35Z EF1 KILX IL Champaign Tipton A tornado touched down about 1.3 miles southwest of St. Joseph at 11:35 PM CDT May 25th. The tornado crossed Salt Fork and damaged trees along County Road 2200 East before dissipating 1 mile south of St. Joseph at 11:37 PM CDT.
06:44Z EF0 KINX OK Mayes Salina This tornado developed west of NE 490 Drive, to the north of Kenwood Road. It moved east, crossed Kenwood Road, and dissipated east of the S 447 Road. The tornado uprooted trees and snapped large tree limbs. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 80 to 85 mph.
