01:29Z EF0 KTBW FL Pinellas Oakhurst Damage was reported to several homes in the Twelve Oaks Mobile Home Park in Seminole. A few homes had roof, window, and carport damage, and several trees were knocked down. No injuries were reported.
02:02Z EF1 KATX WA Mason Bay Shr Between approximately 6:02 - 6:07 PM on the evening of October 18, a tornado touched down near Shelton in Mason County, Washington and traveled approximately 0.68 miles before moving over the water of Pickering Passage and dissipating as a waterspout. The first video evidence and reports from area fire officials prompted the NWS to send a damage survey team to the area during the afternoon of October 19, 2019. Preliminary evaluation of the damage by the team concluded that the tornado reached an EF-1 rating. The damage path was up to 90 yards in width and the tornado was estimated to be on the ground for approximately 5 minutes.||Fortunately, no injuries were reported with this tornado. Most of the damage was in the form of uprooted or snapped soft wood fir and cedar trees. Falling trees did impact at least two houses along the damage path, including one house that had two trees fall on the roof.
02:59Z EF2 KTBW FL Polk (lal)lakeland Muni A A long, continuous path of damage was found in western Polk County from a tornado, causing extensive EF-2 damage. An NWS survey and subsequent Civil Air Patrol aerial survey found numerous homes and businesses with damage to roofs, fascia, awnings, and screen enclosures, as well as fences and trees knocked down. One home was completely destroyed. Kathleen Middle School sustained significant roof damage, with rain water and sprinkler systems causing additional water damage. A camper was lifted into a residence near the middle school. The tornado crossed Interstate 4, overturning a tractor trailer. No injuries were reported.
10:45Z EF1 KTBW FL Lee Cape Coral A tornado touched down in northwest Cape Coral, damaging 18 homes and several vehicles. Most of the damage to homes involved partial roof damage, and fascia, siding, and awnings being blown off the homes. A couple of cars were rolled over, totaling the vehicles. No injuries were reported.
