20:37Z EF0 KMVX MN Grant Charlesville This tornado was one of five tornadoes that formed in Grant County. The tornado formed very quickly west of Elbow Lake. The tornado remained largely over open fields, with minor markings noted in corn and soybean fields, as confirmed by a storm damage survey team. Peak winds were estimated at 75 mph.
20:38Z EF0 KMVX MN Grant Charlesville This tornado was the westernmost of 5 tornadoes that formed in Grant County. It formed and dissipated fairly quickly, likely tracking for less than a half mile. Slight marking was noted in a soybean field by video and a damage survey team. Peak winds were estimated at 65 mph.
20:39Z EF0 KMVX MN Grant Wendell This tornado was the third of five tornadoes in Grant County. The tornado tracked mainly over open fields and pasture land. A slight marking was noted in a field via video and a storm damage survey team. Peak winds were estimated at 70 mph.
20:42Z EF2 KMVX MN Grant Herman Muni Arpt This tornado was the fourth of five tornadoes in Grant County. The tornado crossed U. S. Highway 59 about two miles south of Elbow Lake, the south end of Pomme de Terre Lake, and the Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course. It snapped and uprooted numerous trees, several power poles, and ravaged corn fields. It tore down a small tower, roofing, and roof sections from homes and a golf course clubhouse. Peak winds were estimated at 115 mph.
20:50Z EF1 KMVX MN Grant Hoffman This tornado was the fifth and southernmost of five tornadoes that occurred in Grant County. This tornado had a persistent wall cloud for several minutes prior to tornado development. The tornado quickly became wrapped in heavy rain. It snapped or uprooted several trees, and tore roofing off of a home and a pole shed before passing over highway 55, as confirmed by video and a storm damage survey. Peak winds were estimated at 95 mph.
21:17Z EF0 KMPX MN Pope Farwell A storm chaser filmed a tornado and the local sheriff provided information about the storm damage in Pope County. The tornado tracked northeast for 1.2 miles, clipping the town of Farwell. Several trees were downed, large tree branches were broken and several power poles were blown down.
21:30Z EFU KGLD KS Greeley Horace Brief landspout reported. Tornado lasted about 6 minutes.
21:34Z EF0 KFSD MN Nobles Reading A brief touchdown occurred in a corn field, with an observed twisting to the crops. The tornado travelled a very short distance to the northeast and lifted as it moved near a small hog house. The hog house was slightly displaced from its foundation. Property damage costs are rough estimates.
21:45Z EF0 KMPX MN Douglas Osakis This tornado mostly moved over a soybean field, but did clip a grove of trees. Video of the tornado was filmed by a storm chaser.
21:49Z EFU KGLD KS Greeley Tribune Arpt Greeley county dispatch reported an ongoing tornado. Officer reported the tornado as becoming rain-wrapped and widening at the base. According to dispatch, the tornado dissipated around 3 minutes later.
21:53Z EF1 KMPX MN Todd Philbrook An NWS survey found damage consistent with an EF-1 tornado in northeastern Todd County about 6 miles west of Cushing. The tornado touched down 0.2 miles northwest of Big Lake and traveled north-northeast for nearly 5.2 miles as it moved into Morrison County, near Lincoln. The most significant damage in Todd County was along Star Lake, where several hundred trees were broken and uprooted.
21:57Z EF0 KMPX MN Todd West Union A tornado damaged a garage that was rotated slightly, and its door was bowed out, and a few shingles were damaged. Other damage was associated with large tree limbs blown down along the tornado's path.
21:59Z EF0 KMPX MN Morrison Lincoln This is the continuation track of the tornado that moved across northeast Todd County, and into northwest Morrison County before dissipating. It did remove portions of metal roofs at two businesses in Lincoln.
22:12Z EF0 KUEX NE Hamilton Hampton Minor crop and tree damage occurred. Debris was found in nearby powerlines. An old lean-to shed was destroyed.
22:34Z EF0 KUEX NE Hamilton Stockham Crop damage and scouring occurred. The tornado started in Hamilton County and continued into Clay County.
22:36Z EF0 KUEX NE Clay Eldorado A brief tornado continued from Hamilton County. Cedar tree damage occurred as the tornado crossed the county road into Clay County. A pivot was overturned and crop damage occurred into a converging pattern along the tornado path.
22:37Z EF0 KMPX MN Kandiyohi Spicer An NWS survey found EF-0 tornado damage along and south of Green Lake around Spicer. The county emergency manager reported portion of a metal roof was blown off near the beginning of the tornado. As it moved northeast, dozens of trees were snapped, and docks along the lake sustained damage. The tornado was documented on several videos, and drone images also provided information on the damage path, including the ending point of the tornado.
22:41Z EF0 KMPX MN Morrison Camp Ripley Jct An NWS survey found damage consistent with an EF-0 tornado in northern Morrison County about 7 miles northeast of Little Falls. The tornado traveled northeast for almost 6 miles snapping large tree branches, uprooting trees, and causing damage to a few outbuildings.
22:44Z EF0 KMPX MN Mcleod Brownton An NWS survey found damage consistent with an EF-0 tornado in McLeod County north of Brownton. Several trees were snapped, a trailer was overturned, and a metal grain silo wall was damaged and collapsed. There were numerous photos and videos of this tornado taken by storm chasers and shared on social media.
22:45Z EF0 KMPX MN Kandiyohi Atwater An NWS Survey found an EF-0 tornado began over a peninsula of the northern portions of Diamond Lake. The tornado tracked northeast to the Kandiyohi/Meeker County line, near 340th Street and 210th Street Southeast, and did move into Meeker County.||Video from two storm chasers and one law enforcement officer showed this tornado. A damage survey also used two drones to determine the exact damage path. The tornado moved mostly over corn and bean fields, but did hit numerous trees that were snapped or uprooted when it was in Kandiyohi County.
22:47Z EF0 KMPX MN Morrison Bowlus An NWS survey indicated that an EF-0 tornado tracked over mostly fields and open land, but it did hit some trees, downing large tree branches. Downburst wind damage was noted adjacent to the tornado.
22:49Z EF1 KMPX MN Kandiyohi Spicer A NWS survey, plus storm chasers video indicated an EF-1 tornado across portions of eastern Kandiyohi County, or the Irving Township area. This tornado destroyed one large shed and heavily damaged another. Drone video indicated the exact track of the tornado as it moved into Meeker County.
22:50Z EF1 KMPX MN Mcleod Biscay An NWS survey found damage consistent with an EF-1 tornado in Mcleod County between Biscay and Glencoe. Maximum wind speeds of 95 MPH snapped and uprooted several trees and damaged outbuildings. There were numerous photos and videos of this tornado shared on social media.
22:53Z EF0 KMPX MN Meeker Crow River This is the continuation of the Kandiyohi tornado that moved into Meeker County near 340th Street and 210th Street Southeast. The tornado continued to the northeast damaging many trees and corn/bean fields before dissipating near Crow River. It moved across one farmstead but only produced minor damage to outbuildings. At one point, a law enforcement officer along the Meeker/Kandiyohi line reported and videod one tornado to his south and another to his east. This tornado was the one to his east.
22:53Z EF0 KUEX NE Clay Saronville A second brief tornado over Clay County was confirmed through video and was located about 1.5 miles southeast of Saronville. This tornado lasted no more than a minute and there was no reported damage.
22:54Z EF0 KMPX MN Meeker Crow River This is the continuation track of the tornado that tracked across Kandiyohi County before dissipating shortly after moving into Meeker County. At one point, a law enforcement officer along the Meeker/Kandiyohi line reported and videod one tornado to his south and another to his east. This tornado was the one to his south.
23:09Z EF0 KMPX MN Morrison Hillman An NWS survey found damage consistent with an EF-0 tornado in eastern Morrison county about 2 miles southeast of Hillman. It traveled east-northeast for nearly 3 miles uprooting trees along its path. It moved across one farmstead with the only damage being to uprooted trees.
23:27Z EF0 KMPX MN Meeker Strout An EF-0 tornado mostly tracked across corn fields, but it did strike a grove of trees and knock down some large tree limbs before dissipating northeast of Lake Minnie Belle. There was also downburst winds around this tornado that occurred west of the path, and just north of the lake between 205th Street, and 624th Avenue.
23:49Z EF0 KMPX MN Carver Waconia An NWS Survey indicated a brief EF-0, which was also observed by people nearby. The tornado touched down just off shore on the western edge of Reitz Lake, and moved inland. It caused damage to a boat lift, boat, and several trees before dissipating just north of Airport Road.
23:57Z EF1 KDLH MN Aitkin Lawler The tornado touched down in a stand of trees south of 360th Street|approximately 1.5 miles SW of Lawler, MN, at 6:57 PM CDT. It tracked|north-northeast across 360th Street breaking and uprooting trees. The|tornado then tracked over a homestead on Kestrel Avenue approximately|1 mile north of Lawler doing damage to trees, an electrical pole, and|some outbuildings.
00:10Z EF1 KDLH MN Carlton Moose Lake Muni Arpt A tornado tracked north-northwest west of Moose Lake, MN, embedded within a line of thunderstorms. This tornado produced the most significant damage of this severe weather event, damaging multiple properties including lifting the roof off of a two-car garage and destroying at least one metal shed building. There were also pockets of tree damage along the path of the tornado, with numerous trees snapped 10-20 feet above the ground. Damage was strewn across fields, with several two-by-fours driven into the Earth.
00:12Z EF0 KDLH MN Carlton Automba A brief radar-confirmed tornado produced a two mile swath of tree damage across mainly forested areas near Automba. No property damage reports were received. The damage path was estimated using satellite imagery and the rating was determined based on other similar damage reports from this event.
00:32Z EF0 KMPX MN Hennepin Greenfield A weak tornado moved across a farmstead, knocking down large branches, flattening a corn field, and blowing out a door of a hoop barn. The tornado was caught on video by a storm chaser.
00:55Z EF0 KMPX MN Hennepin Robbinsdale An NWS Survey indicated a brief EF-0 tornado that moved across the City of Crystal, Minnesota. The tornado started near Memory Lane Park, between 43rd and 44th Avenue North and Jersey Avenue North. A large tree was uprooted at this location. This tornado moved eastward between 43rd and 44th Avenue and damaged several large trees, up to 4 feet in diameter, along its path. The tornado lifted near Douglas Drive North. Some roof damage occurred, but the majority of the trees and large limbs fell on power lines, roads, and yards. ||There was also damage on 45th Avenue North, but the damage was consistent with downburst winds and more sporadic. The majority of the damage in the broad area of New Hope, Crystal, North Minneapolis, and Robbinsdale was from downburst winds.
