Power was interrupted to the city wastewater treatment plant and parts of the industrial park. Roofs were blown off metal buildings in this industrial park area. On Highway M west of the industrial park, a large tree limb fell on a power line.
19:05Z 61 MO Cape Girardeau Delta Six medium-size trees were blown down in Delta. A wind gust to 70 mph was measured at the Cape Girardeau airport ASOS (automated surface observing system). Over 1,000 people lost power in Chaffee.

19:45Z 52 IL Randolph Eden Thunderstorm winds destroyed a produce stand just south of Eden. A couple who run the stand went to their pickup truck for cover as the storm approached. As the winds hit, destroying the produce stand, a 2x4 from the stand was propelled through the windshield of the truck. The board struck the female passenger on the side of the head. She was treated and released from the local hospital with minor injuries. Also, several tree limbs were blown down and the couple's house nearby sustained minor damage.

20:10Z 35 GA Troup La Grange The Troup County 911 Center reported that tree limbs had fallen on power lines in the far southwest part of the county. A trained spotter reported that two trees were down in the far southwest part of the county, generally five to seven miles southwest of LaGrange.

20:12Z 50 SC Cherokee East Gaffney Multiple trees were from down from the intersection of Grubb St and 13th St, to the intersection of Peoples Creek Rd and Draytonville Rd. One tree fell on a car on Peoples Creek Rd. Trees were also blown down on Ford Rd about 4 miles east of Gaffney.

20:15Z 56 IL Jefferson Woodlawn In Mount Vernon, numerous tree limbs and wires were blown down, along with one power pole. Streets were blocked by downed limbs and wires. Some businesses received minor damage, such as ripped awnings and fallen gutters. An antenna with its 30-foot tower was brought down at a city residence. A fence was blown over. Elsewhere in the county, a couple of trees were blown down in Woodlawn and Nason.

20:30Z 57 IL Perry Holden A wind gust to 66 mph was measured on U.S. Highway 51 north of DuQuoin. At Sunfield, numerous trees and power lines were blown down near City Lake. A few trees and power lines were blown down on the north side of DuQuoin. There were 1,800 families without power in Perry County at the peak of the power outages.

20:35Z 52 GA Dade Trenton The Dade County Emergency Management Director reported that a thunderstorm downburst or microburst caused considerable damage around Trenton. Approximately 50 trees were blown down in the Edgewood and Piney communities. A home in the Edgewood community was destroyed from downed trees and another sustained minor to moderate damage. A trailer home in the Piney community was also damaged from downed trees, while several outbuildings were heavily damaged or destroyed. A number of power lines and phone lines were also down throughout this area. The Emergency Manager estimated wind gusts at 50 to 60 mph.

One of the trees fell on a home on Mountain View Circle causing damage to the structure. Trees were down on Georgia Highway 341, Garretts Chapel Road, Crittenden Avenue, Camp Road, Pine Hurst Circle, Ireland Lane, Clebourne Avenue, Crescent Avenue, Simonton Drive, Trion Highway, and High Street.

20:50Z 50 NC Stanly Locust Fifteen to twenty trees were blown down in the city park near Locust Elementary School, a fence was blown down as a flag pole bent all by severe winds. About 3 miles southeast of Stanfield trees were blown along Highway 200 blocking portions of Oak Grave Road.

21:30Z 65 IL Massac Metropolis In Metropolis, large tree limbs were blown down. A metal carport was blown over. A trained spotter measured a wind gust to 60 mph on the Interstate 24 bridge over the Ohio River. The most concentrated area of damage appeared to be on the north side of Metropolis, where numerous large limbs were down, some whole trees were uprooted, and sections of a large fence were blown down. On Interstate 24 at the Metropolis exit, a tractor-trailer rig hauling half of a mobile office was blown off the road. The half of the mobile office was destroyed.

21:30Z 52 KY Mccracken Rossington Large tree tops up to 18 inches in diameter were blown down along Kentucky Highway 358 near Rossington. On the Interstate 24 bridge over the Ohio River, a trained spotter measured a wind gust to 60 mph.
21:30Z 35 GA Dodge Yonkers The Dodge County 911 Center reported that four trees were blown down during three separate thunderstorms over a 2-hour period. The first storm occurred near Yonkers, the second near Five Points, and the third near Chauncey.

21:45Z 65 IN Gibson Owensville Widespread damage occurred throughout Princeton, where two windows were blown out of the county courthouse. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down. Between 30 and 50 trees were blown down from west of Owensville to Princeton. The damage was more in pockets than continual. At a radio station on U.S. Highway 41 at State Route 64 on the west side of Princeton, a wind gust to 60 mph was measured as the power went out. Wind gusts were estimated near 70 mph after the power went out in Princeton. A trained spotter in the west part of Fort Branch measured a wind gust to 60 mph.
21:45Z 61 IL Lawrence Chauncey Numerous trees, tree limbs, and power lines were blown down in and around Chauncey and Sumner. Several of the trees and tree limbs fell onto homes. In addition, shingles were blown off some homes in Chauncey and a 60 foot emergency communication tower was torn off the fire department building in Sumner.

21:50Z 52 IL Wabash Mt Carmel A trained spotter estimated a wind gust to 60 mph on the west side of town. A power line was down across a street. Tree limbs were blown down across the city, and some of them landed on power lines. Some of the limbs were three to four inches in diameter. Power was out for 12 to 24 hours in some cases. A tree limb fell on a gas line, causing a leak.

Trees were down on Interstate-16, Cautin Lane, Macon Road, Laurenwood Road, and Steel Breeze Road. A mobile home on Laurenwood Road was destroyed by a downed tree and trees were down on two power lines on Macon Road.

The public also observed one tree down near Starrs Mill in the southeast part of the county.

22:10Z 52 IN Vanderburgh Mc Cutchanville In Evansville, two people were injured when a tree fell on the bedroom, hallway, and living room of a house. Both were transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. One suffered a head injury, and the other had a neck injury. Both injured people were attempting to leave the house through the front door when the tree landed on the home. They exited through the back door after being injured. The structural damage to the house was moderate to major. Elsewhere, there were numerous reports of utility lines blown down in McCutchanville. A trampoline blew in front of cars on the Lloyd Expressway in Evansville. Trained spotters estimated wind gusts near 60 mph in Evansville.

Radar data suggests that a strong thunderstorm downburst affected this area.

One barn was destroyed along Highway 272, along with a small shed and other small outbuildings. Some corn crops were damaged. Near the Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport, a tree fell on a home. The canopy of a gas station was partially blown down in Hopkinsville. Large branches were blown down onto a few Hopkinsville streets. Power outages were sporadic. Three flags were blown down.
