12:36Z 50 KY Magoffin Wonnie An amateur radio operator reported a wind gust of 53 mph in Wonnie. He also reported the 0.26 inches of rain had fallen in about 30 minutes at his location.

13:05Z 60 KY Pulaski Bourbon The Public Safety Director reported that a fiberglass greenhouse had been blown about 100 feet off its foundation during the height of the storm. Other debris had also been blown up to 500 feet away from where the greenhouse formally sat.
13:05Z 60 KY Pulaski Oak Hill An employee of Alton Blakely Ford south of Somerset reported that extensive damage occurred to numerous vehicles on the car lot, the dealership sign, the showroom roof, and the buildings HVAC system. The paint, windshields, and headlights of numerous vehicles had been damaged to varying degrees by flying debris. The thunderstorms winds blew a piece of the damaged fiberglass sign through the windshield of one of the cars on the dealership lot.
13:05Z 60 KY Pulaski Somerset The Pulaski county EM received numerous reports of downed trees and structural damage from around the county. Reports were received of shingles being blown off of roofs and of a carport being blown into a street and causing damage to an occupied car.

13:15Z 55 KY Laurel Corbin London Arpt Wind damage occurred to a house and a building on the Sweet Hollow Golf course. A mobile home was also damaged when a tree fell on it.
13:25Z 65 KY Knox Camp Grounds A daycare center operator near Siler reported that trees were blown down on Rocky Branch Road off Ohler Road. The day care center building was lifted off its foundation, resulting in damage to the building. One witness reported that they saw water lifted from a nearby pond. Other witnesses reported hearing a loud roar as the storm approached.

19:00Z 50 NC Watauga Foscoe A possible microburst downed a number of trees 10 to 12 inches in diameter at the Grandfather Mountain Community Center. One tree fell on the building, shingles were blown off the roof and a wheelbarrow blown 200 yards.

19:25Z 52 TN Hamilton Chattanooga Amateur radio personnel reported a few trees downed by thunderstorm wind near the intersection of Hooker and Wilson roads in Chattanooga. The historic Levin building on Main street suffered extensive damage due to the high winds. Numerous vehicles were damaged by falling trees and the Hunter museum suffered moderate damage to its structure.
19:25Z 50 GA Dade Hooker The Dade County Emergency Management Director reported widespread tree and power line damage across the northern part of the county from two separate storm cells within a line of storms. The first area of damage was concentrated in the Hooker and Wildwood area in the far northern part of the county near the Tennessee border. Two homes in the Pinecrest Subdivision along Georgia Highway 299 sustained damage when trees fell on the structures. At least five power lines were also down in this part of the county. The second area of damage was in the Trenton area where widespread downed trees were observed. A few power lines were also down in this area as well. Overall, hundreds of trees were down across the northern half of the county.

Two trees had fallen on homes calling damage to the structures. A portion of Georgia Highway 71 near Cohutta was blocked from downed trees.

20:53Z 50 GA Floyd Pinson The Floyd County Emergency Management Director reported that several trees and power lines were down in the northeast part of the county around Pinson. In the far southwest part of the county, the public reported that a steel flag pole was snapped in half by strong wind gusts west of Cave Spring near the Alabama border.

21:10Z 65 NC Burke Morganton Quite a few trees were blown down in Morganton, with one on a home on Avery Ave. A section of roof was blown off a large barn near the intersection of Bethel Rd and I-40. Other large trees were blown down along Bethel Rd, some of which fell on homes. Downburst damage continued east to the Connelly Springs and Icard area.

21:21Z 50 NC Caldwell Granite Falls Trees were blown down in the Granite Falls area. A peak wind gust of 56 mph was measured at the Hickory Airport during this time.
21:26Z 51 GA Cherokee Waleska The Cherokee County Emergency Management Director reported that dozens of trees were down across the county from strong straight-line thunderstorm winds, including areas around Waleska, Ball Ground, Canton, and Woodstock. A total of 15 homes across the county were damaged from downed trees, including two with major damage and four others with moderate damage. A middle-aged female was injured at one of the badly damaged homes when a large pine tree fell on her home. Amateur radio operators reported that the back wall of a building on Cherokee Drive in Ball Ground was blown down. Widespread power outages were also observed, especially in the Woodstock area.

21:26Z 52 GA Bartow Euharlee The Bartow County Emergency Management Director reported that a number of trees were down in the southern part of the county southwest of and near Cartersville. Several power lines were also down in Cartersville, including on Erwin Street, Wells Street, and Mission Road.

22:00Z 50 NC Rowan Cleveland A scattering of trees were blown down, roughly paralleling Statesville Blvd west of Salisbury. A metal awning was also blown away and some power lines downed in the area as well.

A back wall of the Department of Family Services Building on McEver Road was damaged when a tree fell into the structure. Several power lines were also down across the county, with up to 4000 people left without power from the thunderstorm wind event.

22:25Z 50 GA Banks Homer The Banks County Emergency Management Director reported that a storage building belong to Home Depot was blown onto U.S. Highway 441. A couple of signs were also blown down onto the highway. The Banks County News of Homer reported that at least 16 trees were down with power outages in the Maysville and Gillsville areas.
22:30Z 55 SC Cherokee Blacksburg Trees and power lines were blown down in areas from Holly Grove Rd and Foster Lake Rd north of Blacksburg, east to the Antioch community, including Ballfield Rd.
22:30Z 50 GA Gwinnett Dacula The Gwinnett County Emergency Management Director measured wind gusts at 58 mph in Dacula. While no tree or power line damage was noted in this area, a tree was blown down onto a home in Lawrenceville causing damage to the structure. In other parts of the county, some trees were down on power lines leaving 300 people in the Duluth area without power.
22:34Z 60 SC Greenville Mauldin An area of wind damage extended from the Glenmont Lane, Ledgemont Lane area, to Miller Rd, Smith Hines Rd, I-385, Pilgrim Rd and Kincade Rd. A very short gustnado path of about 50 yards in length and 50 yards in width was found embedded within the downburst damage in the Glenmont Lane area. Damage along the path was mainly confined to downed trees. However, some siding was torn off a few homes while others experienced minor roof damage, mainly associated with the gustnado.

23:02Z 55 GA Elbert Dewey Rose Trees were blown down across much of the county. The tree damage was a little more concentrated from the Dewey Rose area to the Rock Branch area. Part of a metal roof was also blown off a building in the Ruckersville area.

23:21Z 50 SC Laurens Ekom Trees were blown down on highway 252 about 10 miles west of Laurens, Strickland Ave and on Bethel Church Rd about 6 miles southwest of town.

An NWS storm survey team picked up a slightly more intense downburst path from Ninety Six to the southern shores of Lake Greenwood. At least one tree fell on a moving vehicle near Ninety Six.

01:12Z 61 SC Darlington North Hartsville A National Weather Service Storm Survey Team confirmed a microburst with winds up to 70 mph near Hartsville, South Carolina. The path length was about 0.3 miles and the average path width was 0.1 miles. The microburst downed or snapped a dozen trees along Sun Valley Drive. One of these trees did fall onto a house causing some damage to the roof. The metal roof and siding of a large storage shed were stripped and then blown onto a house causing damage to the roof of a house on Ousleydale Road. Six trees were also down in this area and blocking the road. A car accident reportedly resulted when a vehicle encountered a large pine tree across Ousleydale Road.

01:31Z 50 SC Dillon Hamer A National Weather Service Storm Survey Team found a large pine tree uprooted along Interstate 95, just north of the South Carolina Welcome Center.

02:21Z 50 GA Macon Oglethorpe The Citizen and Georgian of Montezuma reported that the roof over the gas pumps at Wright's Grocery in Oglethorpe was blown off. Residents in the area claimed that it was a tornado, but there was no supporting evidence of such in the radar data.
