23:17Z 70 AR Hempstead Bingen The National Weather Service conducted a storm survey in the northern part of Hempstead County and determined that the damage was consistent with severe thunderstorm wind gusts near 80 mph. Damage was very sporadic and a tornado track could not be found. Damage consisted of several scattered trees uprooted and/or snapped near the community of Bingen. There were also several trees downed across the northern third of the county associated with a large bow echo and straight line wind gusts.

23:28Z 56 GA Muscogee Flat Rock Meteorologists with WRBL and WTVM Television in Columbus reported that a microburst or downburst had caused considerable damage in a small area on the northeast side of Columbus, or approximately one mile northeast of Kenwood. The worst damage was near the intersection of Macon Road and Crystal Road where the Crystal Valley Mobile Home Park was located. Other damage was noted from the Willow Bend residential area to Corporate Ridge Industrial Park. Over 100 large mature trees, many oaks and pines, were either uprooted or split within a two to three square mile-wide area. Several mobile homes were heavily damaged, including two of which were destroyed when large trees crushed them. Several fences and metal gates were also destroyed when smashed by the large fallen trees. WRBL Television reported that two injuries occurred at one of the mobile homes crushed by a large tree. WTVM also noted wind damage just northeast of Bibb City as well, where a few more large trees were down, one of which crushed a fence.

Hundreds of trees were blown down from Redtown to Pollock along FM 1819...Hwy. 103...Hwy. 7 and Hwy. 69. Winds were estimated from 90 to 110 mph. Width of damage was 2 miles wide.

05:10Z 85 TN Benton Lipe Damage in Benton county was the result of an unusually intense microburst with estimated wind speeds of 110 miles an hour. Damage occurred along a 15-mile path that was up to 1 mile wide. There were thousands of trees snapped or uprooted. There was also roof damage to many homes. A couple of barns were barns destroyed.

05:15Z 88 KY Calloway Murray A Kentucky mesonet site measured a wind gust to 101 mph. A number of buildings were damaged, and an industrial warehouse was destroyed. Half the roof was torn off an auto parts store. There was extensive damage to trees and power lines in the city of Murray. Some trees were down on houses. Power poles were down. Roads were blocked. An eight-foot section of siding was blown off a manufacturing plant on the north side of Murray. Two rooftop air conditioning units were blown over. Two barns were blown down. City and county schools and Murray State University were cancelled the following day due to widespread power outages and blocked roads. The county emergency operations center was set up for the first time since the January, 2009 ice storm. Veteran utility workers declared that damage exceeded that from the 2009 ice storm.
05:30Z 61 KY Calloway Van Cleave The damaging winds that struck Murray continued east across the eastern portion of the county. Large trees from 12 to 18 inches in diameter were uprooted off Kentucky 464 in northeast Calloway County. Power lines were down. A double-wide mobile home was overturned on Kentucky 94 east of Murray. Nearby, the top of a silo was blown off.
05:36Z 70 KY Trigg Golden Pond At Wrangler's Campground within the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area, an apparent microburst downed 40 acres of hardwood trees. Trees fell on three cabins, one historic barn, one horse barn, and one vehicle. One hundred miles of trails were closed. Power lines were down.

The path of damage was not continuous. However, the winds knocked numerous trees down, including two on homes. One was at the 25000 block of County Road 14 in Oakland. Another was along Rasch Road in Underwood-Petersville where a resident escaped harm. The tree destroyed several rooms in the home. Dozens of nearby trees were uprooted. Some of the trees were large pines and oaks. Minor structural damage was also reported to an industrial plant in Underwood-Petersville.
