22:45Z 52 TX Midland Midland A thunderstorm moved over Cotton Flat in Midland County and produced wind damage from a downburst. Four inch diameter tree limbs were snapped. A power pole was blown down on Highway 349, and there was damage to houses along west county road 130. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.

23:15Z 63 TX Reagan Stiles A thunderstorm moved over Reagan County and produced a 73 mph wind gust five miles southwest of St. Lawrence. No damage was reported.
23:18Z 65 KS Mcpherson Galva Damaging wind gusts estimated at 75 mph derailed a train, with 33 rail cars knocked off the tracks. Two drivers were aboard the train, but were unharmed. The rail cars contained grain products, and other household goods. Cleanup took over a week to complete.
23:18Z 65 KS Mcpherson Galva Extensive damage from wind driven hail occurred in and around the town of Galva, Kansas. The winds were estimated to be between 65 and 75 mph causing damage to numerous houses and downing tress across town. Tree limbs eight inches in diameter were knocked down. An RV storage unit had it's roof taken off from the damaging winds. Homes received damage to siding from wind driven half dollar sized hail. The roof of the school had damage as well.

Reports from the area included damage to an irrigation well engine shed and a power pole knocked down approximately 1 mile east of Lexington and one mile north of Interstate 80. A large cottonwood tree was also knocked down east of Lexington.

01:53Z 70 NE Sherman Hazard Wind gusts estimated near 80 MPH resulted in a house suffering window damage from flying debris, with a children outdoor playhouse being flipped on its side. Several large trees were dragged across the owner's property. A pole barn was also destroyed, with 6x6 poles snapped and debris spread from southwest to northeast across the property.
