01:41Z 74 AL Marshall Rabbit Town The University of Alabama in Huntsville performed a storm survey depicting a narrow swath with a path length of around 6 miles. Minor to moderate damage occurred along the swath in the city of Albertville of Marshall County. Damage included numerous snapped and uprooted trees, sign damage, and roof damage. Also, a couple of fences were blown down.
01:42Z 61 AL Marshall Albertville Thunderstorm winds downed several trees, bent a local restaurant sign over to a 30 degree angle and a roof was partially blown off of an apartment building.
10:35Z 74 GA De Kalb (pdk)dekalb Peachtre A NWS survey team found thunderstorm wind damage in north DeKalb County. Damage was first noted to trees along Shallowford Road near the North Fork of Peachtree Creek. Several trees were downed along Cosmos Drive N.E. with some damage to homes due to falling limbs. A large tree was downed on a home on Hawthorne Place with several other trees down surrounding the home. Trees were also downed along Jasmine Court and Canna Ridge. Extensive tree and home damage was noted along Braithwood Road and Applewood Court where numerous trees were downed on homes. All damage noted to structures was due to falling trees or branches.
