The heaviest damage was on the west side of Whitesville, where metal roof panels were blown off a metal manufacturing building on Highway 54. A small grain bin was blown about 150 feet. A barn and carport were destroyed, and a recreational vehicle about 30 feet long was overturned. A couple of greenhouses were heavily damaged. At least one of the downed trees and utility poles was blown across a roadway. Peak winds were estimated near 90 mph on the northwest side of Whitesville. |
