16:50Z 61 MO St. Francois Doe Run A line of severe storms moved through the southern half of Ste. Francois County. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down, especially in Doe Run, Park Hills, Farmington and Desloge. In Farmington, two mobile homes were destroyed by fallen trees. Fortunately neither mobile home was occupied. One person had to be rescued from a vehicle that a tree had fallen on. No injuries were reported.

18:00Z 43 FL Manatee Ellenton Two empty tractor trailers were blown over on Interstate 75 at exit 224 by a microburst wind gust. Neither driver reported injuries. In a nearby landscaping area at the interstate exit, a couple palm trees were uprooted and several newly planted oak trees were snapped off near the bases.

Other trees landed on power lines and across roadways. A wind gust to 66 mph was measured by the automated observing system at Barkley Regional Airport, adjacent to the National Weather Service office. A trained spotter on the south side of Paducah measured a wind gust to 67 mph. A utility company reported 7,000 people were without power in the city of Paducah.

Shingles and gutters were blown off at least a few homes near U.S. Highway 68. A few utility poles were snapped on Highway 1954.

Power was out in some rural locations for over 24 hours. In Mayfield, the roof of an American Legion post was extensively damaged. Damage estimates were near 100,000 dollars to completely repair the roof.

The limbs in the footage appeared to be 4 to 6 inches in diameter; however, the condition of the limbs or type of tree are not known. Other reports from Pickering indicated that the wind was still causing damage as late as 3:02 am CST, so used that as the ending time for the wind at Pickering, although it is conceivable that the wind lasted a bit longer than 3:02 am CST.
