As the storm crossed into Spencer County, wind speeds increased rapidly to near 95 mph. A tree was uprooted along the county line. The vast majority of the eight-mile long downburst occurred in Spencer County.

A half dozen homes or garages sustained mostly minor damage, with loss of siding, shingles, or other damage. One barn was destroyed east of Hatfield due to fallen trees. A tree fell on a mobile home. Peak winds in this downburst were estimated near 95 mph. The damage area was about eight miles long and two miles wide, and nearly all of it occurred in Spencer County.

07:10Z 74 GA Gilmer Elders A National Weather Service survey team found that very strong thunderstorm winds caused significant damage across southwestern Gilmer County along a path around 5 miles long and 3 miles wide. The damage began near the intersection of Highway 76 and Crossroads Church Road and extended east southeast to around the intersection of Old Highway 5 and Howard Simmons Road. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down or snapped with several falling on homes and other structures. Significant damage was observed in the Coosawattee River Resort area. No injuries were reported.

In the city of Houston, a well built tractor shed was destroyed and a garage had its top blown off by powerful thunderstorm winds of 80 to 90 mph. Winds of 60 to 70 mph damaged trees and power lines across the county, and Houston appeared to be the area hardest hit. A horse was killed by a lightning strike in the city of Houston as well.

A tree fell onto a house along River Trace Drive, no injuries were reported.

08:48Z 60 GA Murray Oran The Murray County Emergency Manager reported numerous trees blown down across the west side of Chatsworth from the Wildwood Estates neighborhood to the Springdale Estates neighborhood. A few homes received damage from falling trees. On Mary Avenue a tree fell onto a home trapping a family of 4 inside. Three family members were transported to the hospital with injuries, including a laceration to the head.
09:05Z 60 GA Dawson Emma Dawson County EMA reported numerous trees down, some on structures, along North Seed Tick Road east of Dawsonville. At least nine homes received damage from falling trees, three with major damage. One falling tree drove a fence post through a water main on N. Seed Tick Road. No injuries were reported.

11:55Z 53 AZ Maricopa Black Gap Isolated thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds developed over open desert to the southwest of Gila Bend during the morning hours on July 21st. At 0455MST a mesonet sensor, the Desert Research Institute Range 4 station, recorded a wind gust of 61 mph. The station was located about 17 miles to the southwest of the town of Gila Bend.
