The damage started just south of the intersection of State Highways 13 and 82 and continued east to the Marquette County line east of Jordan Lake and was 3 to 4 miles wide in some spots. Some of the downed trees landed on houses. On Jordan Lake, boats were dislodged from docks and floated out into the lake.

Various roads closed due to fallen trees. 2 million dollars in crop damage from straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding is estimated throughout the county for late August into early September.

Various roads closed due to fallen trees. The widespread wind damage and tornadoes caused structural damage to hundreds of homes, with affected damage to 200 homes, minor damage to 100 homes, major damage to 10 homes, and one home destroyed. One business sustained minor damage.

Two semi-trucks were overturned on highway 57 in Waldo. The widespread wind damage and tornadoes caused structural damage to many homes with 70 homes sustaining affected damage, 3 homes with minor damage, 2 homes with major damage, one home destroyed, and 2 businesses with minor damage.

23:49Z 70 MI Osceola Le Roy A narrow corridor of damaging winds was surveyed near Wells lake. The damage started just west of 170th ave and continued over Wells lake eastward. Several trees were uprooted or snapped west of the lake with winds estimated near 70 mph. More extensive damage was found on the east side of the lake where two boats were flipped and nearly every tree was snapped or uprooted. ||Eyewitness accounts of the winds lasting on the order of minutes as well as the prevalence of damage oriented northwestward suggested straight line winds rather than a tornado.
