19:07Z 61 TX Angelina Central A tree fell on the vehicle in the 1800 block of Dewitt Henson Road near Pollok, killing an 8 year old boy and a 3 year old boy sitting in the backseat. The two parents sitting in the front seat sustained minor injuries.

19:40Z 87 TX Nacogdoches Swift Damaging straight line winds estimated to be near 100 mph were found intermittently along a path from south of Nacogdoches to west-northwest of the Martinsville community. The greatest concentration of damage was near the intersection of County Road 239 and FM 2713, where approximately 50 trees were snapped or uprooted, the roof of a chicken house was removed, one home sustained roof damage, and another home had their windows broken from flying debris.

20:58Z 87 LA Sabine Fisher A damaging downburst with estimated peak winds near 100 mph impacted much of the community of Fisher in Central Sabine Parish, with numerous trees snapped or uprooted along 4L Drive, with this large extent of damage spreading across the entire village including Railroad Avenue, 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, and 3rd Avenue. A large hardwood tree fell through a home on 1st Avenue. This downburst spread east northeast across Highway 171 where a couple of trees were downed, with damage widespread once again across Cottonwood Street and Laurel Street east of Highway 171. A metal roofed canopy was ripped off of a home and thrown across the street on Cottonwood Street, with a number of shingles torn off of a home across the street where the metal roof was tossed. The majority of the damage on the east side of Fisher was on Laurel Street, where 7-8 trees were snapped or uprooted on one property, with two of these trees landing through a home and a minivan, and a third narrowly missing the home. Throughout the entire path of the downburst, the trees/metal roofing fell in a north northeasterly direction.

06:00Z 70 AL Franklin Old Nauvoo NWS representatives assessed several reports of damage between Belgreen along Highway 24 northward to the Colbert County line as well as from Little Bear Creek Lake northward to Hwy 24. The damage noted in this location was very sporadic and included a few snapped hardwood or softwood trees spread out over 2-3 miles. |After investigating, several of these trees were dead or already weakened from termite damage, and only 3-4 of them over the span of the areas investigated were healthy foliage. No tree damage was noted at Cedar Creek Lake, so this was concluded to be the end of the damage found.
