05:40Z 87 TX Rusk Kilgore Damaging straight line winds estimated up to 100 mph partially ripped the roof off of a metal outbuilding and a nearby trailer was tipped over off of Texas 101 Spur and Woodlawn Street. Damage was found again along Meadowgreen Drive and Idylwood Drive just inside the Southern Gregg County side of Kilgore, where approximately 8 single family homes and 2 apartment buildings had partial roof damage. In addition, trees were snapped and uprooted in this area as well.

A number of light poles and business signs were broken and bent as a result of the high winds. Benton Middle School received the greatest damage where the entire metal roof of one of its classroom wings was completely peeled back and removed.

However, the officer inside was not injured and was later rescued. Other debris was blown onto the southbound and northbound lanes of I-49 between Kings Highway and Interstate 20, prompting the closure of that section of the interstate.

10:20Z 70 MS Tunica Tunica Thunderstorm winds moved across Tunica, MS and areas south and east of the community. Several industrial buildings were damaged south of town. The Tunica AWOS recorded a peak wind gust of 79 mph. East of the airport, an apartment roof, mobile home, and a large storage shed were damaged. In total, across Tunica County, there were four homes damaged, four businesses damaged and 17 farms damaged. There was widespread tree damage along with two injuries. A tractor-trailer was also blown over.

10:38Z 61 MS Tate Cottonville Straight-line winds damaged a utility pole and knocked down large tree limbs on Prichard Road in western Tate County.
10:40Z 61 TN Obion Troy A farm building was destroyed and spread southeast to the intersection of Key Road and Ebenezer Road. Numerous trees and powerlines were knocked down in the area. This damage was linked to the straight-line winds associated with the tornado that tracked just north of this area.

10:46Z 78 MS Quitman Bobo Straight-line winds south of the tornado track caused significant damage to a small professional building and minor damage to a home on Bill Locke Road near the intersection of Jamison Road.
10:46Z 56 MS Quitman Bobo Straight-line winds damaged an outbuilding and knocked down some trees near the intersection of Locke Station and Jamison Roads.
10:49Z 61 MS De Soto Love Straight-line winds knocked down numerous trees south of the tornado track in southern DeSoto County, just north of Arkabutla Lake.
10:50Z 55 GA Hall Blackshear Place Numerous reports were received from the Hall County Emergency Manager, the public and local news media of trees and power lines blown down as well as wind damage to the roofs of some homes and businesses across the county in a swath at least 15 miles wide from Oakwood to Clermont. Several homes and businesses, and at least one vehicle, also received damage from falling trees. No injuries were reported.

11:28Z 52 MS Grenada Glenwild A home was damaged and trees were blown down along Bolton Hill Road. Trees and power lines were blown down with damage to roofs in the Elliott area. A shed was also destroyed.

11:43Z 61 KY Marshall Draffenville Numerous trees were down throughout the county, including the Gilbertsville area.
11:45Z 87 LA Lafayette Scott Scattered trees and power lines were blown down across the city of Lafayette. Several homes had trees land on them. One business lost its roof. At least 15 homes had roof damage. Winds were estimated at 75 to 100 mph. The path of the wind damage was 5 miles long and 2400 yards wide.
