13:27Z 61 IN Madison Woodlawn Hgts Straight line winds of 60 to 70 mph downed trees in the area of County Road 200 North and Alexandria Pike. Some trees were downed onto homes. A brief gustnado on the leading edge of the gust front (outflow boundary) also occurred around 828 am EST; it was observed forming over Aqua Gardens Lake on this leading edge of the thunderstorm, before moving onto land in a northeast direction for approximately 1 mile. Larger branches were broken from both the straight line winds and the circulation associated with the gustnado. A few boards on a pier were lifted as well.

23:50Z 59 IN Vanderburgh Darmstadt Widespread damaging winds from 60 to 70 mph swept across the Evansville metropolitan area from north to south. A few businesses suffered roof damage. Hundreds of trees were snapped, uprooted, or had large branches broken. Some of the trees landed across power lines. Some downed trees blocked roads. Numerous power outages occurred. Up to 28,000 electric customers in and near Evansville were without power in the aftermath of the storm. The first report of a downed tree and power lines was about ten miles north of downtown Evansville, or three miles northeast of Darmstadt. Tree damage became more widespread as the storms moved across the north side of the Evansville metro area and then across downtown Evansville. A peak wind gust of 68 mph was measured by the Evansville airport automated observing system. The duration of wind gusts above 60 mph lasted for at least four minutes at the airport. There was an unofficial measured gust of 62 mph a couple miles south of Darmstadt.
00:06Z 65 IN Vanderburgh Evansville Widespread damaging winds continued their path through the metropolitan area. Areas east and southeast of downtown Evansville received considerable tree damage. The most intense wind damage was in and around Wesselman Park, which is located just east of downtown Evansville. Winds estimated near 75 mph downed numerous trees in that area. The roof of an athletic building at the park was damaged. A trained spotter estimated winds gusted to 65 mph just southeast of downtown.

00:50Z 61 KY Daviess St Joseph A tree limb fell on an occupied camper at the Diamond Lake campground near West Louisville. There were no injuries, but people were trapped in the camper. The camper was not a total loss. Elsewhere in the county, there were several tree limbs on power lines. Most of the trees and power lines were around the St. Joseph and West Louisville area of the county.
