21:14Z 50 NC Currituck Poplar Branch A portion of a roof was blown off at a residence along the 500 Block of Ocean Trail. Debris from the roof traveled and hit a nearby transformer.

These gusts were a result of outflow winds associated with a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

01:00Z 56 UT Utah Vivian Park The Arrowhead Summit mesonet station recorded an initial strong wind gust of 59 mph at 6:00 pm MST as a result of outflow winds associated with a line of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area. A second peak wind gust of 64 mph was recorded at 6:10 pm MST before winds began to subside.

01:00Z 50 WI Dunn Menomonie The storm caused numerous large tree branches down around the town of Menomonie. Some branches were estimated to be at least 8 inches in diameter. In addition, the Menomonie ASOS measured a 53 mph wind gust.
01:10Z 64 UT Wasatch Charleston The US-189 at Deer Creek Dam mesonet station recorded an initial peak gust of 74 mph at 6:10 pm MST, and an additional strong gust of 59 mph at 6:20 pm MST. These gusts were a result of outflow winds associated with a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.
01:14Z 61 UT Davis Syracuse The UofU Playa Research Site mesonet station recorded an initial peak gust of 70 mph at 6:14 pm MST, followed by strong gusts to 59mph, 60mph, and 58 mph at 6:15 pm MST, 6:16 pm MST, and 6:19 pm MST respectively. These gusts were a result of outflow winds associated with a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.
01:15Z 50 WI Chippewa Cornell The emergency manager reported that the storm caused scattered trees down across nearly a one mile swath from the northwest side of Cornell. Some trees fell on houses and vehicles. A gazebo was also damaged, several garage doors buckled, and some shingles damaged.
01:17Z 56 UT Davis Clearfield Strong thunderstorms and associated outflow winds moved through the area during the early evening. At approximately 6:18 pm MST, a witness saw a tree fall onto a 68-year-old bicyclist riding along the Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail paved multiuse trail. Law enforcement arrived on scene, finding the woman unconscious and pinned beneath the felled 40 to 50 ft tree. After being removed, life saving measures were preformed and she was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where she later died from her injuries. The nearest observation in the area is from Hill AFB, which measured a gust of 67 mph at 6:26 pm MST. Other supporting wind gusts are noted from these strong storms in the area.
01:26Z 58 UT Davis (hif)hill Afb Ogden The Hill Air Force Base AWOS recorded a period of wind gusts to 67 mph between 6:26 pm MST and 6:47 pm MST. These gusts were the result of outflow winds associated with a line of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.
01:30Z 56 WI Chippewa Cornell A report of 65 mph winds was received from a trained spotter on the Chippewa and Taylor county line. In addition, the Eau Claire airport in the southern part of the county also measured a 55 mph wind gust.
01:31Z 56 WI Taylor Donald Trained spotter measured a 65 mph gust near Gilman.
01:33Z 53 UT Weber (ogd)ogden Muni Arpt The Ogden-Hinckley Airport ASOS recorded a period of wind gusts to 61 mph between 6:33 pm MST and 6:45 pm MST. These gusts were the result of outflow winds associated with a line of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.
