15:47Z 61 FL Miami-dade Miami New Tamiami Ar A NWS Storm Survey found a swath of straight-line wind damage that began with an overturned semi-tractor trailer near Krome Avenue and SW 104th Street and cut through several areas of The Hammocks, Kendall Lakes, Westchester, and West Miami. There was vegetation damage, which included medium to large downed branches and snapped trees. Wind damage indicated gusts reached an estimated 60 to 70 mph. Time was estimated from radar imagery.
16:20Z 58 FL Miami-dade Miami A University of Miami Health System WeatherSTEM site reported a 67 mph wind gust as a line of severe thunderstorms moved through the area. The wind instrument is elevated on top of a tall building, therefore it is likely not representative of wind speeds at ground level. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
16:32Z 52 FL Miami-dade Miami Beach Based on radar imagery and Mesonet sites from across the city of Miami Beach, estimated winds of 60 mph with a line of severe thunderstorms, led to wind damage in areas of Miami Beach. The damage was concentrated to the Mid and North Beach areas, and included tree damage as well as a downed light pole.
