09:17Z 74 MO Cape Girardeau Gordonville A microburst with estimated peak winds of 85 mph caused sporadic wind damage on the west side of Cape Girardeau, MO, during the early morning hours of April 2, 2024. Dozens of trees were uprooted or suffered damage to large tree limbs. A few homes also had shingle, siding, or facia damage. One home on W Highland Dr had more than half of the roof removed while a home on Woodbine Pl suffered roof damage after a tree fell on it. The microburst started just east of the path of an EF-0 tornado along County Road 318. Crossing over Interstate 55, damage continued into the west side of Cape Girardeau. The microburst was about 3.25 miles long and about 400 yards in width for the main damage swath, with isolated tree damage to the north.

10:36Z 78 IN Posey Grafton A microburst with winds of 70-90 mph produced widespread tree damage and some minor damage to a few homes and outbuildings across Posey County, Indiana, north of Mount Vernon, on the morning of April 2, 2024. The damage was mainly east of Lower New Harmony Road and west of the town of Caborn. The damage was primarily south of Copperline Road and north of Nation Road. The microburst path length was approximately 8 miles and path width was approximately 2 miles.
10:48Z 78 IN Posey Parkers Settlement A macroburst began in eastern portions of Central Posey county at Parkers Settlement, progressing eastward into Vanderburgh County. In Parkers Settlement, a roof collapsed on an outbuilding, roofing damage occurred at a home, and many trees were uprooted or snapped. This macroburst began downstream of a tornado track that ended just north of Parkers Settlement. The Posey County portion of the macroburst had a length of three-quarters of a mile and a path width of almost one mile. The survey was completed in partnership with Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency.
10:49Z 83 IN Vanderburgh St Joseph A macroburst with peak winds of 95 mph caused thousands of trees in its path to be uprooted or snapped. There was also damage to some home and outbuildings, mainly shingle loss, minor roof damage, or damage to gutters and fascia. There were also several homes damaged by trees falling onto them. The macroburst began in extreme eastern Posey County, near Parkers Settlement, continuing east-southeast into Vanderburgh County, where damage occurred north and south along Highway 66 for a while before impacting residential areas east of Highway 66 near Mill Road and north of Kasson Drive. A large tree was uprooted and fell on a car near North Park. Additional damage continued to occur as the storm moved eastward, with damage on Kratzville Road, at Thunderbolt Pass Golf Course, and Evansville Regional Airport. At the airport, an airplane was damaged and roof damage occurred at a warehouse. Significant tree damage occurred in Melody Hill. The macroburst path was approximately 11 miles long and 1.2 miles wide at its widest. The survey was completed in partnership with Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency.

11:05Z 78 IN Warrick Boonville A microburst with 70-90 mph winds occurred in Warrick County south of Boonville, Indiana on the morning of April 2, 2024. The swath of damage was about 5 miles in length and 0.75 miles in width, stretching from Geneva Way to Metz Road, south of Maple Grove Road. Trees were uprooted and minor damage occurred to several homes including some fascia, siding, and shingle damage.
11:10Z 61 IN Warrick Pelzer As a surge in the line moved through, several trees were uprooted and snapped. Further east a greenhouse was knocked down with a measured wind gust of 56 mph. The estimated wind gust is based on the western tree damage. This line is approximately a half mile south of the surveyed microburst path and may be an extension of it.

11:11Z 74 IN Warrick Folsomville Powerful downburst winds were produced following the lifting of a tornado, causing widespread wind damage in and around Folsomville. The broadening of wind damage into a straight-line wind profile was identified in an NWS storm survey. A public report called into the EMA noted that a tin roof was ripped off of a barn. Numerous trees were down on roads and power poles were also down.
