These winds were likely associated with a strong rear-flank downdraft (RFD) of a supercell thunderstorm that eventually produced a tornado that began 7 miles east-northeast of Butler. ||Through this area of damage, numerous (at least a dozen) outbuildings were significantly damaged or destroyed and at least two houses received roof damage. Numerous trees and power poles were also damaged throughout this area. |
