00:42Z 78 MD Garrett Friendsville There were approximately 200 calls for trees, wires, and poles blown down in northern Garrett County, particularly in the Friendsville to Grantsville area. A roof was partially torn off of a house, with power lines and poles laying on the home on First Avenue. Numerous trees blew down on MD-742/MD-42 Friendsville Road at First Avenue, and on MD-42 Friendsville Road at Asher Glade Road. Dozens of trees blew down around Youghiogheny Lake, including one onto a house. Significant damage was noted in the vicinity of US-219 Chestnut Ridge Road, just north of High Point near Grantsville where a storage unit attached to a house, a two-story barn, and a small pavilion were destroyed; dozens of trees were uprooted and snapped, with wires and a few poles snapped due to the falling trees.
00:47Z 52 PA Somerset Harnedsville A severe thunderstorm, producing estimated wind gusts near 60 mph, knocked down a tree through the roof of a house on Clouse Road northwest of Listonburg. No injuries were reported.
00:49Z 83 PA Somerset Addison A severe thunderstorm, producing straight-line winds in excess of 95 mph, caused extensive tree damage in Addison and elk Lick Townships. In Addison, a tree fell onto a residence, with multiple trees knocked down across roadways in Addison, knocking out power for a majority of the town. Two people were injured in Addison when an ATV collided with a downed tree. Extensive tree damage continued into Salisbury, where a silo also collapsed into a barn, causing the barn to collapse.

01:05Z 65 MD Allegany Midlothian Allegany County 911 Call Center took over 100 calls for trees, wires, and poles down across the northern part of the county, particularly in Midlothian, Mount Savage, Barrelville, Corriganville, Little Orleans and Bellegrove. Four people were injured by a falling tree. Roof damage was reported to homes in Frostburg, and shingle damage was reported in Cumberland. Spotters across the county reported it was the worst wind they had seen from a thunderstorm since the derecho in 2012, with multiple trees and large tree limbs down on spotters' properties.

01:34Z 65 WV Morgan Berkeley Spgs There were over 100 calls for trees, wires, and poles blown down across the northern portion of the county from Berkeley Springs to Great Cacapon, including several onto cars and homes. Shingle and siding damage was reported. Dozens of trees blew down near Berryville and east of Berkeley Springs, and in Shady Grove where trees blew down in the 5000 block of WV-9 Martinsburg Road. The hospital in Berkeley Springs lost power, and was briefly cut off due to roads around the hospital being blocked by downed trees. Several large trees fell onto homes and vehicles along WV-9 Martinsburg Road near the Panorama Overlook. Several large trees were toppled along Fairview Drive in Berkeley Springs bringing down numerous wires. A home was partially unroofed in Hedgesville.

01:45Z 65 TX Montague Bowie Muni A broad area of strong straight-line winds developed over central Montague County along and just ahead of a short northeast/southwest-oriented line of intense thunderstorms. Numerous hardwood tree branches were broken off of trees within the region of strong winds, and the roof of at least one barn was partially peeled up. A brief spinup EF-0 tornado also developed within this broader wind field and is documented separately.

02:00Z 65 MD Washington Clear Spg A wind gust of 65 knots (75 MPH) was measured by the ASOS at Hagerstown Regional Airport (KHGR). Significant tree and power line damage was observed around Clear Spring and Maugansville. Several homes sustained siding damage, and two barns were partially unroofed. A resident near Hagerstown reported numerous trees uprooted over 200 yards.
02:00Z 83 MD Washington Hagerstown Hundreds of trees, wires, and poles blew down from Hagerstown to Smithsburg. Numerous homes suffered at least partial roof loss, with numerous homes and businesses losing siding and shingles. Numerous outbuildings were severely damaged or destroyed, including several sheds that were blown a couple hundred feet. In downtown Hagerstown, a building near the intersection of South Potomac Street and West Antietam Street had a large portion of its roof ripped off. An older building at the intersection of US-40 National Pike and East Franklin Street had half of its roof peeled off, with the roofing material landing on East Franklin Street. A building at the intersection of North Mulberry Street and East Franklin Street had most of its roof covering material peeled off. An industrial building at the intersection of Pope Avenue and East First Street had major portions of its roof peeled off and thrown downwind onto nearby homes along East First Street.

02:09Z 61 MD Washington Ringgold A wind gust of 61 knots (70 MPH) was measured by a mesonet at the intersection of MD-64 Smithsburg Pike and MD-418 Ringgold Pike.
02:12Z 70 MD Frederick Lantz A wind gust of 70 knots (81 MPH) was measured by the AWOS at Camp David (KRSP). Hundreds of trees, limbs, wires, and poles blew down around Thurmont and Emmitsburg. Trees blew down on MD-77 Foxville Road at Herman Hauver Road, and on MD-550 Jimtown Road east of US-15. Numerous tree limbs blew down southeast of Thurmont toward New Midway. Five large 60-foot tall pine trees blew down near Thurmont, one of which crushed an unoccupied vehicle; there were also ten trees snapped at the top near this location.

02:15Z 57 MD Frederick Graceham A wind gust of 57 knots (66 MPH) was measured by a CWOP station near Thurmont (DW1771).
02:21Z 70 MD Carroll Union Bridge Hundreds of trees, wires, and poles blew down in Taneytown, Linwood, and Uniontown. Several homes had roof damage and significant shingle or siding loss. Several outbuildings were destroyed, including a couple of sheds that blew over 100 feet. Trees blew down on MD-84 Union Bridge Road at MD-75 Green Valley Road, and on MD-832 Old Taneytown Road at Mayberry Road. The Public Safety Training Center in Westminster had a garage door blown in, and there was roof damage to barns around Union Bridge and Keymar. A tree was blown into a home in Frizzellburg. There were a few dozen reports of trees and wires down across the north half of the county from the Westminster area, north to the Pennsylvania line.

This severe thunderstorm also blew over a large air conditioning unit along with knocking over a tree onto a residence, with no injuries reported.

A lot of lightweight metal was damaged and parts of the well-built home shifted some, but not off the foundation.
